My childhood icon: Film

i was raised in a family of "penghijrah" or Immigrant , i have the adventures and rebellious gene in my blood. The TV program were among gave me inspiration to  travel . I have this longing to wander and see the foreign land.

My dad, always brought us visiting places. Museum was a mandatory place, includes gardens , park, beach, monument  and theme park  were the site i used to visit every school holiday and weekend. We travel with his mini cooper wagon. later Toyota STarlet. Always a wagon. We stock with pillow and food. This is the best memory i had with him.

Later during school time, i am very active and given an opportunity to follow school program, be it sports programs, school trips, competitions and visit teacher houses. Every school holidays meant i have opportunity to travel to other states, Penang, Perak and Negeri Sembilan.

The God ask us to travel : Surah Al Mu'min. Paragraph 021.

Have they not traveled in the land and seen what was the end of those before them? Those people are the ones who are more of them in strength, and the effects of development efforts in the face of the earth. But even so, Allah destroyed them for their sins, and they have none to save them from the punishment of Allah.

Surah Ar Rum Paragraph 040 -

Say it Muhammad to the believeable: Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before (you); Most of them were idolaters

My travel Blog

I always a dreamer.
I am a traveller. But i am not rich traveller. 20 years ago, i even sleep at the airport and use airport shuttle bus to have free ride.

Now, even i have more money than before, i still travel cheap. Because i believe thats the only way to understand the local, to know the new place and to have a real insight experience in foreign country.

Why i travel?

Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and minds) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts.
